MMHP Coping Skills Development Project

Human beings are weak relatively to other beings but survived and thrived for more than 300,000 years only because we were able to learn and adapt. Learning is the corner stone to sustainable wellbeing and healing.

Our mission is to empower people with the tools they need to achieve sustainable wellbeing and healing. Our approach is rooted in a holistic, systems-based approach that focuses on what we call a “support system.” A support system is made up of different components: social support, emotional support, financial support, and physical support. Each of these components are interconnected and work together to help you achieve your wellness goals.

We believe that the best way to improve your mental health is by working through an issue at its source—your thoughts and behaviors—rather than just treating the symptoms of your condition. That’s why we offer training programs that teach you how to change your thought patterns and behaviors so that you can develop healthier coping skills. These skills will help you overcome anxiety disorders or depression, as well as prevent these conditions from occurring in the first place.

Our programs are led by expert practitioners—a team of certified psychologists and therapists who have studied in-depth the most effective approaches to mental health problems. We offer workshops, group therapy sessions, PTSD, Duel Diagnosis, CBT, DBT and ACT therapies, as well as specialized services for young people and those who work in the service industry. All of our programs are based on research-backed methods that have been proven effective time and again.

We also offer a unique platform connecting service users with service providers, allowing individuals like yourself to connect with someone who can guide them through the process of finding permanent solutions for their issues. This is especially important considering that many people find it hard to open up about their feelings or seek help when they need it most—but at My Mental Health Project we believe everyone deserves access to quality care regardless of whether they are comfortable discussing their issues publicly or not.

We are currently working with over 100 organizations across Australia to deliver these workshops, including schools, hospitals, community centers, prisons and more! Our workshops can be tailored specifically for each organization’s needs so if there’s something specific about your organization’s culture that makes it difficult for staff members to open up then let us know.
